Imagine K12 considers applications on a rolling basis. The application for the fall 2013 program will remain open until August 1st, or until the cohort is full, whichever comes first. We encourage you to apply as early as possible.

Application Process

Complete and submit the online application for the fall 2013 Imagine K12 program. Note that we request a one or two minute video introduction as part of your application. This is important to us, so please don’t omit it. We also appreciate your attention to the video guidelines.

Selection Process

We will review your application and get back to you within three weeks of its submission. For companies that seem like a good fit for Imagine K12, we will schedule interviews at our office in Palo Alto, then rapidly decide which of these founders to fund and inform them of their acceptance. Selected companies will immediately receive funding of $14k-$20k from Imagine K12, depending on the number of founders. Each company will then receive an additional investment of $80k from the Imagine K12 Start Fund when the program begins in September. 

We expect all founders to move to the SF bay area before the program begins on September 5th.

Selection Criteria

We look for incredibly smart, passionate and motivated entrepreneurs with ideas that scale and that impact outcomes for kids. In the end, we choose folks whom we believe in. The founders we fund have both the skill and the drive to make their ideas become reality.
