Imagine K12 considers applications on a rolling basis. We will select up to 20 companies for each cohort. The application for the program will remain open until August 1st, or until the cohort is full, whichever comes first.  We encourage you to apply as early as possible. Upon acceptance, you will immediately receive funding from Imagine K12, and we will begin meeting with you regularly for office hours. Accepted companies are also immediately looped into our networks of educators and Imagine K12 founders.

Application Process

Complete and submit the online application for the Imagine K12 program. Note that we request a one or two minute video introduction as part of your application. This is important to us, so please don’t omit it. We also appreciate your attention to the video guidelines.

Selection Process

We will review your application and get back to you within three weeks of its submission. If you company seems like a good fit for Imagine K12, we will schedule an interview at our office in Silicon Valley, then rapidly decide whether to offer you a place in the Imagine K12 cohort. Selected companies will immediately begin receiving support in the form of advising as well as funding of $14k - $20k from Imagine K12. Companies will then receive an additional investment of $80k from the Imagine K12 Start Fund when the program culminates in January.

We expect all founders to move to Silicon Valley before the program begins in September.

We look for incredibly smart, passionate and motivated entrepreneurs with ideas that scale and that impact outcomes for kids. In the end, we choose folks whom we believe in. The founders we fund have both the drive and the skill to make their ideas become reality.
